2C-I (2,5-Dimethoxy-4-iodophenethylamine)
2C family phenethylamine psychedelic developed by Alexander Shulgin. 5-HT2A/2C agonist with effects lasting 8-12h. MAO-A substrate. Considered a gentler psychedelic in the 2C family with a manageable headspace at moderate doses, though body load (nausea, muscle tension) can be significant. Metabolized by MAO-A-mediated deamination with CYP contributions. Popular in the early 2000s research chemical scene. Duration intermediate between 2C-B (4-6h) and DOx compounds (14-20h).
Projected serum levels — 15 mg, as needed (shown daily)
Maintenance schedule: 15 mg as needed (shown daily) (oral).
Modeled steady state after ~1 days: peak ≈ 7.0 mg, trough ≈ 0.70 mg body load. Population-based estimate over 15 days for a 15 mg dose at a 70 kg reference body mass — the interactive app scales curves to your doses, timing, and body mass.
