DOx family amphetamine psychedelic with the longest duration of all known psychedelics (14-20h). 5-HT2A/2C agonist with weak monoamine releasing properties (amphetamine backbone). Infamously misdosed in the 1960s — 20 mg tablets (labeled "STP" for Serenity, Tranquility, Peace) were distributed thinking they were mild amphetamine, resulting in prolonged terrifying trips and emergency room admissions. CYP2D6 substrate. Very steep dose-response curve — 2mg is threshold, 10mg is profoundly intense. Not suitable for casual use due to extreme duration.
