Vitamin K
Family of fat-soluble vitamers required for gamma-carboxylation of coagulation and other vitamin-K-dependent proteins. Products may contain vitamin K1, menaquinone-4, menaquinone-7, or combinations. Form matters, and changes in vitamin K intake can alter response to vitamin K antagonist anticoagulants such as warfarin.
