Chlorophyll is a family of magnesium-containing photosynthetic pigments, not one compound. Commercial liquid products may contain chlorophyllin, which is a distinct semisynthetic mixture. Evidence for chlorophyllin must not be represented as evidence for intact natural chlorophyll.
